Velocity Sports Ltd have delivered a new 3G stadium pitch for isthmian League side Ware FC in the summer of 2018.
Velocity Sports Ltd were responsible for the initial surveys and detailed design of the project and following a successful negotiation went on to carry out the earthworks, topsoil disposal, sub base preparation, stone formation placement, macadam installation and artificial surfacing.
The pitch, which is built on a stabilised sub base with fully engineered base boasts a professional standard 45mm 3G surface laid onto a specialist shockpad for greater player comfort and improved consistency.
The hardstanding surrounds of the pitch were also improved, and the existing fence line repaired and reinstated to complete a major transformation.
The field was tested to FIFA Quality Pro standards and delivered in time for pre-season training as agreed.
