In the summer of 2020 Velocity Sports Ltd worked with facilities management company G4S to upgrade the all-weather sporting provision at The Royal Wootton Bassett Academy in Wiltshire.
The project consisted of the refurbishment of the school’s existing sand-dressed hockey along with remedial work to the faulty drainage system.
A new high performance 15mm wet pour rubber shockpad was installed to ensure the new system met the stringent standards of FIH National.
The scheme was managed by well renowned pitch consultant SSL Ltd and was completed on time and on budget despite testing access and live school environment.
