Over the winter of 2016 and the spring of 2017 Velocity constructed a new sports facility for Northwood School.
Working for the London Borough of Hillingdon, under the remit of main contractors Farrans, Velocity developed a new 3G all weather pitch for football and school level hockey with high level perimeter fencing.
The works also comprised the construction of 2 hectares of natural grass football and rugby pitches which included topsoil placement, laser grading, primary drainage, sand amelioration and finishing works.
The £900k project was tested to BS standards and handed over to a delighted client in May 2017.
