Newhaven Football Club have made a significant investment in new facilities, with the club upgrading their ground in the spring and summer of 2022.
The Dockers, formed in 1887 are on of the oldest football clubs in Sussex and founding members of the SCFL.
Due to their highly successful and ever-expanding youth section the club decided a 3G surface was the best way to unify all sections of the club and maximise usage of the main stadium facility.
The project, designed and overseen by specialist consultants Surfacing Standards Ltd consisted of the installation of a new FIFA Quality 3G playing surface, spectator fencing, acoustic fencing, retaining structures, security fencing, dugout areas, LED lighting, sports equipment as well as hard and soft landscaping.
The development has ensured the clubs continued growth continues apace and that the local community can benefit from a superb new facility, a win for all!
The new pitch was opened in the summer of 2022 and has received welcome acclaim from the club and users alike.
