Lambrook School is one of the country’s leading and highest profile prep schools. With a long history of excellence, they wanted to re-develop their tired sand-dressed pitch into something unique to reflect the nature of the school.
Following a full tender process, Velocity Sports were selected to work with the school to create a bespoke pitch that met the varied needs of the PE department. Working closely with supply chain partners, a striking pitch was manufactured that exactly matched the schools branding and style.
Significant base and fencing repairs plus additional floodlighting infrastructure were also carried out to future proof the facility and ensure the long-term performance of pitch.
- Overseen by consultants Traction Sports Ltd, the project involved:
- Removal and recycling of the old sand-filled carpet and shockpad.
- Base remediation to bring the pitch within the tolerances of FIH standards.
- New fencing and sports equipment.
- New floodlight bases and cabling.
- Installation of new we pour rubber shockpad.
- Installation of bespoke sand-dressed carpet.
