Hertford Town FC Blues go 3G!

The summer of 2021 saw Southern League side Hertford Town FC invest in a high quality 3G pitch at Hertingfordbury Park.

The step 5 club contracted specialist firm Velocity Sports to upgrade their existing natural grass stadium pitch to a dual fibre artificial surface which incorporated a natural infill material.

The project was delivered as a turnkey solution with Velocity providing a design and build service including undertaking initial surveys, developing the design, obtaining planning permission, discharging the relevant conditions as well constructing and maintaining the new facility.

The site works were completed in only 8 weeks and the field has now been certified to FIFA Quality standards.
