Bracknell Town FC New Era for Robins

down

The summer of 2016 saw Bracknell Town FC undertake a major redevelopment of their home ground at Larges Lane.

Overseen by forward thinking Chairman Kayne Steinborn-Busse the project involved an overhaul of entire ground.

The main pitch was the focal point of a development which also included upgrades to the floodlighting, perimeter and security fencing, hard standing walkways, the car park, the clubhouse, the site entrance, spectator stands and Directors boxes as well as associated other hard landscaping features.

The main 3G pitch was a key factor in the regeneration as it allows additional community and club usage of an asset which was underutilised.

The pitch was tested to FIFA Quality standards and the ground met approval from the FA for step 5 ground grading.

The club moved into their new ground in November 2017, some 20 weeks after development work started.
